No cherry blossoms fall below
It's been years since I've seen them bloom
Light skinned, petite, small brown eyes
a mind so broad, a heart so big
she catches the eyes
she brings in life
she is followed by trouble
Quiet, no sound, no words
Wants to break free from these chains
this small town scene of a world
A rebelling soul
A troubled spirit
a failure to my traditonal bound family
a radical for my beliefs
alone, hurt, and confused
But for I am never disheartened
There has to be a way
to break free from this complicated life
this is my fight, my war to show my true self
The sword reflects my problems
Courage and bravery asre my weapons
Me heart is my bestfriend
For they are the only things I need to win this
painful struggle
As cherry blossoms fall down below
I bow down to the ones who have doubted me
my battle has be fought, my was has been won
I am no longer a troubled, lost, empty sould
I finally can be myself
no pain, no sorrow

Hi Mrs. S,
ReplyDeleteI decided to do Mulan because ever since I was little, I always wanted to be just like her and I can find many things that Mulan and I have in common. She's chinese, petite, and she loves to rebel and wants more in life just as I am. I feel that she is a good person to compare yourself too because even though she may not be a God she is a rolemodel to people that want to break out and be free just as how I look up to her. Looking at the old graphics from other classes I saw that they didn't add a lot of pictures of themselves. I wanted to do something simple and what really catches the theme of the poem which is cherry blossoms and a girl warrior. The chinese symbols on right stands for bravery, courage, and love. Overall I think I did a GREEEEEAT JOB !:D
